Karuizawa Horizon Church

The Easter performance was on April 9th. Like other outreach events, there were live praises sung, dances, and a play of Christ’s resurrection. Not only did children perform, but adults in our church also stood on stage, performed, and acted for the audience.  A lot of practice and effort went into creating a full performance. The previous day, April 8th, some of the church members continued to prepare for the performance. They did a run-through of the play, made the props, and practiced more of the songs.  Even until the final day, things were hectic. On the 9th, the children did their final rehearsals for the skit and practices for the songs, had a short sermon, and headed to the event venue. Although many of the prepared acts were not perfected, the performance went well, and the story of Christ’s resurrection was accounted for well. Christmas, the day to commemorate and honor Jesus Christ. As a church, we are honored to have a day to remember Christ’s birth, and we don’t want this joy to stop with us. Every year, we hold a Christmas concert to outreach and spread the exhilarating news of Christ the Savior.  To showcase the array of wonderful talents our church members have, in 2022, we put together an extravagant show, complete with music, acting, and dancing! Below are some images of the Christmas outreach. It is a hectic process before the actual show, but that is what makes the experience more wholesome. Children as well as adults learn teamwork, time management, and diligence. Many people took leading roles and showcased their amazing talents.
